382 FLUS44 KLUB 290113 HWOLUB Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Lubbock TX 813 PM CDT Fri Jun 28 2024 TXZ021>044-300115- Parmer-Castro-Swisher-Briscoe-Hall-Childress-Bailey-Lamb-Hale-Floyd- Motley-Cottle-Cochran-Hockley-Lubbock-Crosby-Dickens-King-Yoakum- Terry-Lynn-Garza-Kent-Stonewall- 813 PM CDT Fri Jun 28 2024 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle. .DAY ONE...Tonight. No hazardous weather is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Heat index values as high as 107 degrees are expected on Saturday over the eastern Rolling Plains and far southeast Texas Panhandle. A Heat Advisory is in effect for this area from 1 PM until 8 PM CDT on Saturday. Low thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast for the extreme southern Texas Panhandle and northwestern South Plains on Saturday. Temperatures near or in excess of 105 degrees will be possible across the extreme southeastern Texas Panhandle and portions of the Rolling Plains on Tuesday afternoon. Low chances for late-afternoon and evening thunderstorms remain in the forecast for portions of the extreme southern Texas Panhandle, South Plains, and Rolling Plains from Tuesday through Friday next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
