...PIKESVILLE NOAA WEATHER RADIO TRANSMISSION IS DEGRADED...

The Pikesville NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter KEC-83, located in
Pikesville, Maryland and broadcasting on a frequency of 162.400
megahertz, has encountered a mechanical error that is causing a
degraded transmission. Technicians have identified the issue, but
will be unable to make full repair until at least Friday June
28th, 2024. Listeners on this frequency should have alternative
methods to receive weather watches and warnings. We apologize for
any inconvenience this may cause.
