Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
424 AM EDT Sat Jun 22 2024

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Hot and humid conditions are expected today with high pressure
anchored offshore. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
will develop this afternoon and early evening, mainly near the
mountains. While Sunday will be hot and humid again, a cold front
will descend from the Great Lakes later Sunday into Monday,
potentially bringing multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms.

High pressure and lower humidity will make a brief stay Tuesday
before heat returns Wednesday. An approaching cold front may
spark thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday.
