Areas affected...Central High Plains

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 375...376...382...

Valid 030122Z - 030245Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 375, 376,
382 continues.

SUMMARY...Severe winds are likely with MCS as it propagates east
this evening.

DISCUSSION...Weak short-wave trough appears to be aiding central
High Plains convection early this evening. Over the last few hours,
scattered robust convection, some supercellular, has conglomerated
into an elongated MCS that stretches from ANW-LXN-GLD. Substantial
upscale growth has contributed to a severe complex that is surging
southeast at roughly 35kt. Numerous measured wind gusts in excess of
70kt have been reported with this MCS, and likely continues,
especially with the leading surge that is approaching Lexington NE.
This activity will spread across western portions of ww382 over the
next few hours.
