West Yreka-
Discussion for Western Klamath
338 AM PDT Fri Jun 28 2024

A period of drying is anticipated through next weekend with very
little chances for rainfall in the forecast. At this time, there
is a small chance for thunderstorms Sunday afternoon, but this
chance is only for far eastern parts of the forecast area. This
drying trend will come with the heat ramping up, especially next
week as triple digits become possible. Elevated to critical fire
weather conditions could become a common theme next week, with
critical fire weather possible starting Tuesday. Western parts of
Siskiyou County currently have the highest potential for critical
fire weather conditions next week.
