...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL GOGEBIC COUNTY
THROUGH 915 AM CDT...

At 837 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Winchester, or 14 miles east of Turtle Flambeau Flowage, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marenisco, Presque Isle Reservoir, Chaney Lake, and Pomeroy Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
