...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL BEGIN TO IMPACT ISLE ROYALE BY 745 PM
EDT...

At 650 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 34 miles northwest of Thunder Bay Ontario to 20
miles southeast of Grand Marais. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Siskiwit Lake, Windigo, and Mount Desor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
