...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MARQUETTE AND
NORTHEASTERN BARAGA COUNTIES THROUGH 1115 PM EDT...

At 1030 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of The Huron Islands, or 22 miles east of L`anse, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Bay, Halfway Village, Mountain Lake, and Huron River Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
