...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northeastern Kay
County through 900 PM CDT...

At 832 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles east of Newkirk, moving northeast at 20 mph. People near Kaw
Lake should prepare for the arrival of this storm.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Newkirk, Hardy, and northern Kaw Lake.
