403 FNUS55 KPUB 151030 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 430 AM MDT Sat Jun 15 2024 .Discussion... Critical fire weather conditions will be possible for San Luis Valley and Otero County (where fuels are critical) from Sunday through Tuesday. Fire weather conditions will be more marginal on Sunday, but then more widespread over all of the lower elevations of the district on Monday and possibly Tuesday (depending on timing of the front, which may move through sooner on Tuesday during the afternoon and mitigate the threat), however, fuels still remain below critical stage for most of these zones. For today, it will begin warming back up, with even hotter temperatures expected by Sunday and Monday. There will be a chance of some shower and thunderstorms today, but then be mostly dry on Sunday and through Tuesday. Chances of showers and thunderstorms, along with a wetting rain, will increase from Wednesday through Thursday, but then continues to dry out towards the end of next week. Smoke dispersion will become Very Good to Excellent across the district today, then become Poor tonight, improving to Excellent again tomorrow. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-152215- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 430 AM MDT Sat Jun 15 2024 .TODAY...
