...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN RIO GRANDE...SOUTH
CENTRAL SAGUACHE...SOUTHEASTERN MINERAL AND NORTHWESTERN CONEJOS
COUNTIES THROUGH NOON MDT...

At 1132 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Wolf Creek Pass, or 37 miles north of Dulce,
moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Del Norte, South Fork, and Wolf Creek Pass.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
