This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio, and portions of central, northeast, northern, southern and western West Virginia. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. A prolonged and potentially dangerous period of heat begins today. Heat index values will reach into the mid to upper 90s this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the Internet for more information about the following hazards. Excessive Heat Watch. A prolonged and potentially dangerous period of heat continues through at least Friday. Heat index values will reach into the mid 90s to low 100s each day, which may result in heat-related health and infrastructure impacts.
