Drying aloft and inland will continue into Saturday. Lowest daytime humidity for the deserts onto the lower desert slopes of the mountains will fall to 8 to 12 percent today and Saturday. Gusty southwest to west winds for the mountains and deserts will be strongest for late this afternoon into this evening with near critical fire weather conditions for the deserts onto the desert slopes of the mountains for late this afternoon into early this evening. There will be a warming trend over the weekend with high temperatures for inland areas for Sunday through much next week around 5 to 10 degrees above average, to around 115 for the lower deserts and to around 100 for the far inland valleys. Strong high pressure aloft across the Great Basin and southwest states could bring additional warming toward the end of next week.
