170 FNUS75 KSLC 020946 SMFSLC Smoke Management Forecast National Weather Service Salt Lake City Utah 346 AM MDT Tue Jul 2 2024......Cheng .DISCUSSION...Decreased transport winds and a more stable airmass settling into the area today will bring decreased mixing especially to the lower valleys of northern and central Utah. Mixing will improve tomorrow into Thursday as another cold front brings locally gusty winds. High pressure will then build into the area for the weekend resulting in very warm temperatures and good to excellent mixing areawide.
