...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Kansas, including the following
  counties, Marshall and Nemaha.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1017 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This could cause
    urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain could result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Marysville, Sabetha, Seneca, Blue Rapids, Frankfort,
    Waterville, Centralia, Axtell, Beattie, Bern, Vermillion,
    Oneida, Baileyville and Woodlawn.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
