The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Jefferson County in northeastern Kansas...
  Southeastern Shawnee County in east central Kansas...
  Northwestern Douglas County in east central Kansas...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 840 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Lecompton to 5 miles north of Richland to 4
  miles southwest of Berryton, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Lawrence, Tecumseh, Richland, Perry, Lecompton, Clinton, Lone Star,
  Pleasant Grove, Clinton Lake, Berryton, and Williamstown.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 184 and 205.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
