...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN DICKINSON COUNTY
IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central,
northeastern and east central Kansas.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN GEARY AND SOUTH CENTRAL RILEY COUNTIES...

At 622 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Grandview
Plaza, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 617 PM CDT, a trained spotter
         reported golf ball size hail 2 miles WNW of Junction City.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Junction City, Ogden, and Grandview Plaza.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 290 and 306.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central,
northeastern and east central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
