...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHERN JEFFERSON...NORTHEASTERN SHAWNEE AND NORTHWESTERN
DOUGLAS COUNTIES...

At 849 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Perry, moving
east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Lawrence, Tecumseh, Perry, Lecompton, Williamstown, Perry
Lake, and Grantville.

This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 184 and 200.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.
