At 342 AM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly between I40
and I44 and also north of I44 and east of highway 75. Thunderstorms
with locally heavy rain were located in Rogers, Nowata and Mayes
counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the south at around 20 mph.
The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a
half. Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The
Tulsa area forecast for late tonight and into this morning, mostly
cloudy, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 77
to 82 degrees and south winds up to 10 mph.
