At 942 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain primarily in Pawnee,
Osage and Creek counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the
Tulsa area. Movement was to the south at around 10 mph. The average
amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of an inch
with maximum amounts of two to two and a half inches. Coverage and
intensity remained about the same as last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late this evening and into overnight, mostly cloudy, a
chance of showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 81 to 89
degrees and northeast winds up to 10 mph.
