Scattered showers and storms will favor the high terrain of western and northern NM this weekend and early next week. Locally heavy rainfall may produce flash flooding over recent burn scars. The very moist airmass will allow for excellent overnight recoveries the next couple of nights, with at least good recoveries through the end of the week. Temperatures rise and afternoon humidities drop early next week, but remain at least 20% areawide. Another surge of moisture will result in an uptick of shower and storm coverage mid to late week.
