...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CIBOLA...VALENCIA...
SOUTHWESTERN RIO ARRIBA...CENTRAL SANDOVAL...NORTH CENTRAL SOCORRO
AND BERNALILLO COUNTIES THROUGH 345 PM MDT...

At 320 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 9 miles southwest of Lindrith to 12 miles east
of Marquez to 26 miles southeast of Acoma Pueblo. Movement was east
at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Los Lunas, Bernalillo, Belen, Cuba,
Valencia, Corrales, Los Ranchos De Albuquerque, and Bosque Farms.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Frequent dangerous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these
storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek
a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
