Fire Weather Forecast For Central/NE South Dakota WC MN
National Weather Service Aberdeen SD
444 AM CDT Thu Jun 27 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Expect a few rounds of weak thunderstorm activity through the
morning hours, with another round of stronger storms west river into
the Missouri valley later this afternoon and evening. Severe weather
potential lingers into the overnight hours as storms move into
eastern South Dakota, with storms potentially redeveloping across
far northeast South Dakota into mid day Friday. This is all as a low
pressure and front moves across the area. Winds ahead of the front
will increase out of the south to southeast at 30 to 40mph. Winds on
the backside of the front Friday will be northwesterly between 20
and 35mph.

Humidity will remain in the 60 to 80 percent range through the
afternoon hours.
