HEIGHTS...THE CITY OF HOPEWELL AND THE CITY OF PETERSBURG THROUGH 445
PM EDT...

At 412 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near East Highland Park to near Sutherland to 6
miles northwest of Dewitt. Movement was east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Colonial Heights, Chester, Highland
  Springs, Ettrick, Matoaca, Sutherland, and Bellwood around 425 PM
  EDT.
  Virginia State University around 430 PM EDT.
  Hopewell and Fort Gregg-Adams around 435 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Richmond Heights,
Addison, Montrose, Petersburg National Battlefield, Sandston,
Glendale, Pocahontas State Park, Richmond International, Church Road,
and Fair Oaks.
