...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL LACKAWANNA...
LUZERNE...SOUTHEASTERN BRADFORD AND WYOMING COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM
EDT...

At 707 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near New Albany to near Ricketts Glen State
Park to near Rohrsburg. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Wilkes-Barre, Falls, Muhlenberg, Kingston, Nanticoke, Plains, Old
Forge, Pittston, Plymouth, and Exeter.

This includes the following highway exits...
 Interstate 80 near 262.
 Pennsylvania Interstate 81 between 155 and 175A and B.
 Interstate 476 near 115.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
northeastern Pennsylvania.
