Some of these storms are strong and should continue to move southeastward and eventually weaken tonight. Expect overnight lows from the lower 50s north to the lower 60s southeast. Sunday is expected to be a sunny and dry day, with highs ranging from the mid 70s in the northern Red River Valley to the lower 90s in southeast Montana. Later Sunday evening into Sunday night, a few strong to severe storms could develop from northeast Montana into northwest and north central North Dakota. Monday looks to be the warmest day for much of the Northern Plains, with highs mostly in the mid 80s to mid 90s. It will also be humid across the central and eastern Dakotas as well as Minnesota. Chances for severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening will mainly be focused from the Red River Valley into northern and central Minnesota. $$ rk
