.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...
There will be a good chance of afternoon and evening showers
and thunderstorms across the area. Some areas will see locally
heavy rainfall. Temperatures will be warmer today with gusty
south winds over the plains. Overnight, there will continue
to be a chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly over the
higher terrain.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday through Monday...There will be
scattered to likely showers and thunderstorms on Friday. It
will be somewhat drier Saturday through Monday as well as a
bit warmer. Humidity levels will drop into the teens during
the afternoons on Sunday and Monday. However, winds should
be fairly weak so critical fire weather conditions are not
expected through Monday.
