...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MIFFLIN AND SOUTH
CENTRAL CENTRE COUNTIES THROUGH 130 PM EDT...

At 100 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
State College, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
State College, Bellefonte, Park Forest Village, Boalsburg, Pleasant
Gap, Lemont, Houserville, Milroy, Centre Hall, Milesburg, Spring
Mills, Julian, Potters Mills, Belltown, Seven Mountains, Poe Valley
State Park, Reeds Gap State Park, Unionville, Siglerville, and Tussey
Mountain Ski Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for
central Pennsylvania.
