...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Duluth MN to Port Wing WI...
Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to Grand Portage MN
beyond 5NM...
Two Harbors to Duluth MN...

At 825 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over McQuade Harbor,
or 9 nm northeast of Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, moving northeast at
25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Knife River Marina, Superior Entry, McQuade Harbor, Barkers Island,
Superior Harbor, Duluth Lift Bridge Channel, Duluth Harbor, Stoney
Point, and French River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northwestern
Wisconsin.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, small hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
