...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL ST. LOUIS AND
NORTHEASTERN CARLTON COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM CDT...

At 340 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fond Du Lac Band Sawyer Area, or near Cloquet, moving northeast at 45
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Duluth, Cloquet, Hermantown, Scanlon, Brookston, Saginaw, Fond Du Lac
Band Brookston Area, Island Lake, Fond Du Lac Band Cloquet Area, Pike
Lake Near Duluth, City of Rice Lake, Fond Du Lac Band Sawyer Area,
Grand Lake, Fredenberg, Mahnomen, Culver, Fish Lake, Sawyer, Shaw,
and Duluth Heights.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 AM CDT for
northeastern Minnesota.
