...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT BAY...SAGINAW AND MIDLAND
COUNTIES THROUGH 815 AM EDT...

At 726 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Merrill, or 13 miles east of Alma, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Frankenmuth, Auburn, St. Charles,
Pinconning, Sanford, Freeland, Kawkawlin, Essexville, Zilwaukee,
Merrill, Bridgeport, Linwood, Oil City, Pleasant Valley, Munger,
Marion Springs, and Carrollton.

People attending Midland Country Club  should seek safe shelter
immediately!

This includes the following highways...
 I-75 between mile markers 142 and 182.
 I-675 between mile markers 1 and 7.
 US-10 between mile markers 112 and 139.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
