Up-valley south to southwest winds are expected to develop in the Klamath drainage again this afternoon, similar to yesterday afternoon. Portions of the burn site may be sheltered from these winds, while areas closer to the 96 may be more exposed. In these exposed areas, gusts of 10 to 15 mph are possible. Winds significantly weaken this evening and overnight. The marine layer is forecast to compress late tonight, and while the burn site is expected to remain below the inversion, areas slightly higher in elevation may see a period of low RH values and light NNE winds early Friday morning, followed by improvement mid-morning as daytime heating lifts the inversion height. The wind evolution is expected to be similar Friday, while afternoon temperatures trend a little higher with lower min RH values in the afternoon. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny.
