...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY
THROUGH 930 PM MDT...

At 903 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 17
miles south of Canyonlands National Park, or 29 miles west of La Sal,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern San
Juan County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
