At 756 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Redbug to 7 miles north of Gresham. Movement was southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Marion, Whiteville, Mullins, Horry, Tabor City, Loris, Chadbourn, Bethel, Johnsonville, Fair Bluff, Freeland, Hallsboro, Adrian, Nakina, Redbug, Gapway, Poston, Exum, Bughill, and Brittons Neck. This includes SC Highway 22 between mile markers 1 and 13. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers.
