Through 1100 pm, a band of showers with embedded thunderstorms stretching from the Florida Bay, across the length of the Florida Keys, and to the distant Florida Straits off of the Dry Tortugas will continue to sag slowly southeastward. The stronger activity will produce wind gusts near 35 mph, torrential downpours, and at times, frequent lightning strikes. Additional rainfall amounts one to two inches of rain will be possible. Any island location along the island may be affected by this may affected by this band. $$
