Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
343 AM CDT Sun Jun 23 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms during the next 7 days are expected to
produce rainfall totals of an inch or less across western and
north central Nebraska. Locally higher amounts are possible.

Recent rains across western and north central Nebraska have been
favorable for green up in many areas. Still, parts of southwest
Nebraska have missed out on this rain and elevated fire weather
conditions are expected today through Tuesday. The concern is
temperatures in the 90s to around 100 and afternoon humidity near
or below 20 percent.
