This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible across western and north
central Nebraska this evening. The hazards are large hail and
damaging wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall which could cause
flooding in some areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Additional thunderstorm chances arrive Friday afternoon and evening.
Storms may become strong to severe with large hail and damaging
winds the main concerns. At this time, the main area of concern is
south of a line from Antioch to Ewing. Locally heavy rain may again
lead to localized minor flooding, especially for areas that see
heavy rains both Thursday and Friday.

Thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon and evening Saturday
through Wednesday. A few strong to severe thunderstorms will be
possible Monday across north central Nebraska, otherwise the threat
for severe during this timeframe is uncertain.

Hot temperatures will return to the area on Monday with afternoon
highs in the middle to upper 90s for much of southwest Nebraska and
heat index values approaching the century mark.
