MCPHERSON...NORTHWESTERN CUSTER...WESTERN BLAINE AND THOMAS COUNTIES
THROUGH 1045 PM CDT/945 PM MDT/...

At 955 PM CDT/855 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles northwest of
Purdum to near Thedford to 16 miles south of Seneca. Movement was
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Thedford, Dunning, Halsey, Gandy, Purdum, Highway 83 crossing The
Dismal River, Tarboz Lake, Shanklin Bluff, Hoagland, Brown Lake,
Norway, and Natwick.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 198 and 245.
 Highway 83 between mile markers 113 and 168.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT/1000
