...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WOODFORD...SOUTHERN
SCOTT...WEST CENTRAL BOURBON...NORTH CENTRAL FAYETTE...SOUTHWESTERN
HARRISON AND EAST CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 536 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Georgetown, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Georgetown, Midway, Stamping Ground, Georgetown Scott County Airport,
Leesburg, Duval, Mallard Point, Moon Lake Estates, Lancelot Estates,
and Muddy Ford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
central Kentucky.
