...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN OLDHAM...WEST
CENTRAL SHELBY AND CENTRAL JEFFERSON COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 533 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Strathmoor Manor, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively,
Lyndon, Middletown, Douglass Hills, Prospect, and Hurstbourne.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
south central Indiana...and central Kentucky.
