This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for most of the area Saturday
afternoon, when heat indices up to 110 are possible. The hot and
humid conditions are expected to continue into Sunday.

An isolated severe thunderstorm threat exists on Sunday and
Monday, with the primary threats being damaging wind gusts and
large hail.

Spotter activation may be needed on Sunday and Monday.

Virginia, northern and central Virginia, and central and western
Maryland.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

An Excessive Heat Watch is in effect for most of the area Saturday
afternoon, when heat indices up to 105 are possible west of the
Blue Ridge, and up to 110 east of the Blue Ridge. The hot and
humid conditions are expected to continue into Sunday.

An isolated severe thunderstorm threat exists on Sunday and
Monday, with the primary threats being damaging wind gusts and
large hail. The threat on Monday will primarily be east of the
Blue Ridge.

heat indices up to 105 are possible. The hot and humid conditions
are expected to continue into Sunday.

An isolated severe thunderstorm threat exists on Sunday, primary
threats being damaging wind gusts and large hail.
