Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
145 PM EDT Wed Sep 25 2024

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

Increased cloud cover and shower chances linger through as a warm
front lifts through the region. A weak cold front will work across
the area late Thursday into Friday, while Hurricane Helene lifts
northward from the Gulf of Mexico into the southern Appalachains and
Tennessee River Valley. Widespread rainfall and breezy conditions
are expected Friday into Saturday as the center of Helene passes
well south and west of the region. High pressure builds in from the
north Sunday, but rain chances look to remain into early next
week.
