Corrects time and location of previous
landspout report from 7 SSW Moore Haven.
Hendry County Emergency Management confirmed
reports of a brief landspout south of State
Road 80 near Lexington Parkway. Fire Rescue
personnel who observed the landspout stated
that it traveled over citrus/sugar fields.
This occurred as a severe thunderstorm was
just to the west of this feature. No
additional damage has been reported at this
time. Broadcast Media also reported photo
and video of the landspout.
