Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick Island DE out 20 nm...
Coastal waters from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen DE out 20 nm...
Waters from Cape May NJ to Fenwick Island DE out 20 to 40 nm...

At 216 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located 7 nm north of Chicken Bone, moving southeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Five Fathoms Buoy and Delaware Lightship Buoy 44009.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
