.DISCUSSION...Overall weather for today will be warm and dry, but
rain and storm chances increase later in the day as our next
system begins to move into the area. Any isolated storm today will
be capable of producing brief downpours and gusty winds of 40 to
50 mph. There will likely be a bit of a break in the activity for
the first half of Monday before the next wave of moisture moves in
and then it will be isolated storms Monday afternoon/evening
before on and off showers Monday night through Tuesday. This
system will bring beneficial rainfall totals (from this evening
to Tuesday night) with about a 90% chance of at least a quarter
inch of rain, a 70 percent chance of a half inch, and a 30 percent
chance of an inch. Temperatures will also drop with this system as
we go from mid to upper 60s today to near 50 on Tuesday.
