Hot and dry conditions are expected today. Winds are expected to remain light (~10 MPH) and from the north-northeast throughout the day. The wild card will be where very weak thunderstorms develop. These storms will likely produce a few drops of rain, but will create gusty winds of around 30 to 40 MPH. The best time for these storms to develop over and near the Oak Ridge fire will be between 1300 and 1700. Look for clouds with rain falling from the base but evaporates before hitting the ground - those are the storms that will create the strongest winds. The winds will also be coming from the direction of where those storms are - i.e. if the storm is relatively close to you located to the north, expect gusty northerly winds. Ventilation rates will be Good to Very Good until sunset. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny(33 percent). Isolated gusty winds from weak t-storms from 1300-1700. Areas of smoke.
