Very hot and dry conditions persist over the area the rest of this week
and into the weekend, with daytime high temperatures at around 110-112
degrees, and overnight lows in the upper 70s. Relative humidity will be
very low, in the low teens, with poor overnight recoveries. Winds will
generally be lighter and terrain driven, with occasional gusts in the
afternoon to around 12-15 mph our of the west-southwest. Sunny and clear
skies are expected over the forecast period.
