...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following
  county, Geneva and Panhandle Florida, including the following
  counties, Holmes and Walton.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 555 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Geneva, Hartford, Union, Black, Sweetgum Head, Vaughanville,
    Barker Store, Royals Crossroads, New Hope, Somerset, Leonia,
    Baker Settlement, Lytle, Geneva Municipal A/P, Izagora,
    Eunola, Arrant Settlement, Prosperity, Darlington and Marl.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
