...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL GADSDEN...NORTH CENTRAL
LEON...SOUTHEASTERN DECATUR AND SOUTHERN GRADY COUNTIES THROUGH 1000
PM EDT...

At 931 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles north of Havana to near Greensboro.
Movement was east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Quincy, Midway, Havana, Tallahassee Community College,
Gretna, Freemont, Macon Community Park, Littman, Douglas City,
Darsey, Florence, Scotland, Jamieson, Rocky Hill, Fred George Park,
Santa Clara, Shady Rest, Amsterdam, and Quincy Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
