...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT TUESDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Kansas, east central
Kansas, north central Kansas and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Excessive heat will continue through early evening with heat indices
up to 110 degrees. Low temperatures in the mid to upper 70s Tuesday
morning will provide little relief overnight. Isolated thunderstorms
are possible this evening across north central Kansas and a few could
be strong to severe with strong wind gusts to 60 mph possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Excessive heat is forecast again on Tuesday. High temperatures are
expected to be in the mid 90s to low 100s with heat indices up to
108 degrees. Be sure to have a plan to beat the heat and check on
those vulnerable to make sure they can stay cool.

Thunderstorm chances increase during the day Tuesday with highest
chances in eastern Kansas Tuesday night. Any stronger storms could
produce damaging wind gusts and some large hail.

.SPOTTER MESSAGE

Weather spotters are encouraged to relay reports of hail, damaging
wind, tornadoes and flooding.
